Singapore-headquartered law firm, WongPartnership, is leveraging Thomson Reuters' advanced document automation solution, Contract Express, to enhance productivity.

The solution allows lawyers to automate templates inside Microsoft Word by using a simple mark-up function, streamlining the document creation process. They can do so through their in-house platform called WPGenerate.

WongPartnership is also offering the automation solution to its clients via the WPGateway on its website. Clients who have subscribed to the service will thus be able to generate certain standardised documents through the portal.

"Lawyers are not immune from the digital disruption that affects our clients. Technology is changing the way law is practiced and, as such, technological innovation must be a cornerstone of our firm's growth," said Ng Wai King, Managing Partner at WongPartnership.

"Working with Thomson Reuters will drive greater productivity at the firm across a range of technology solutions in our bid to continue delivering high quality and innovative services to our clients," he added.

Besides WongPartnership, more than 100 of the leading law firms and organisations globally are using Contract Express to drive document creation efficiency. "[The solution will enable them to] achieve greater internal efficiencies and savings, while at the same time differentiating them in the market and delivering their legal services in increasingly innovative ways," said Tony Kinnear, Managing Director, ASEAN and North Asia, Thomson Reuters.
